Gymnasts from the Level 4, 5, and 6 teams traveled to Hebron, CT.  The Level 5’s and 6’s competed first on floor, where their newly refreshed routines were debuted.  Despite some setbacks in dance, the team moved forward, following the top performances of Megan and Katie.

 Vault and Bars were lower scoring events for the girls, although Alison and Lizzie vaulted well, Samantha became a member of the 9.0 Club with her bar routine. and the level 6’s were the top three bar swingers in the meet.

Ending on Beam, the team had some ups and downs, but showed strength with Sara’s fight and Megan’s top scoring performance.

Solid routines on Beam landed Samantha in second place All around, and secured Megan’s first place finish, for the second meet in a row.

Only minutes later, the level 4 team took the floor.  Kate’s new kip, Brooklyn’s improved tumbling, and Megan’s strong overall performance put the level 4’s at the top of their age groups.  Kate placed second in All around, and first on Bars, thanks to her new kip.  Brooklyn placed 5^th in the All around, with a big score on vault.  Megan, competing in her first away meet, took first place in the 6-8 age group, thanks largely in part to her rock-solid beam routine!
