Gym World May 2, 2004
Gymnastics Revolution’s compulsory team competed at Gym World,
of Clinton CT on May 2, 2004. In what would be their last meet
before the State Championships, the team performed well, but
left a little room for improvement.
The Level 4’s started on Floor, and as has often been the case,
these three youngest competitors of the meet started well. They
moved through their afternoon easily and comfortably, and coach
Allyson commented, “I was so proud of Samantha M, she’s never
looked so solid!” Allyson will take the Level 4’s to the State
Sectional Championships later in the month.

The Level 5’s were lead by Samantha B, and had many solid
performances over the course of the night, notably Cortney’s
Floor routine. Both Brian and Kelly remarked that the girls
seemed nervous, and kept the plans for the next several weeks
secret. Kelly’s promise was, “you’ll see some serious
competitors at States [in June].”
Gymnastics Revolution’s seasoned Level 6 gymnasts took advantage
of an unfamiliar environment, and although they had small
difficulties on vault and beam, looked better than ever on bars
and floor. They continue to move up in the ranks, and will
undoubtedly do well at their State Championships, June 6, 2004. |
