Independence Day Show June 20th!
Gymnastics Revolution
has been home to some of the most exciting gymnastics events in
the state of Connecticut. This Sunday, June 20, 2004, first
thing in the morning, it was the “graduating class” of
preschoolers who took center stage.
The average age of the participants in the show was only 4 years
old, but the excitement of the show proved that a gymnast
doesn’t have to be 14 years old, and Olympic-bound to be fun to
watch. Even the youngest Mommy and Me gymnasts were able to
follow the program, and brothers, sisters, parents, and
grandparents were treated to a fun demonstration.

With a
little help from some of their top competitive gymnasts, Brian,
Kelly, and Nicole led their preschool-age gymnasts through a
huge circuit, encompassing the entire gym. An energetic warm-up
showed the parents that Nicole was both the most exciting coach
at Gymnastics Revolution, and the leader for the day.
Over 50 tiny gymnasts moved through the gym, demonstrating their
abilities, and having a great time showing off. After their
demonstration, the advanced gymnasts put on their own short
exhibition, showing spectators what a little talent and a lot of
hard work could produce.
Every single gymnast in the show received their certificate of
completion, and got to stand up on the awards podium for
pictures and applause, and when it was all over, the now-famous
balloon drop released 500 red, white, and blue balloons on the
thrilled gymnasts. The only question left after the show was,
“what will Gymnastics Revolution do next year??” |
