end of every 12 week session of gymnastics, athletes in
Gymnastics Revolutionís Recreational Program are invited to
participate in a fun and exciting competition, to demonstrate
their abilities and perform in front of friends and family.
December 5, 2004, a group of
44 gymnasts tested themselves in the Winter Challenge, 2004.
Competing on all 4 Olympic events, gymnasts ages 5 to 13 were
coached by Dawn, Nicole, Julie, and Brian.
The scores from
the competition were second to the efforts of the gymnasts, and
at the end of the day, everybody received awards for their
performances. Special recognition was given to Gillian, Camryn,
Rachel, and Kristen, whose routines earned them the highest
scores of the day!
At the end of
the day, these gymnasts learned that they could be successful
gymnasts, if they worked hard in their classes, and then took
that risk of entering into a competition. Their parents were
proud to see these athletes working so hard, and so confidently,
and the coaches were happy to see the results of their
guidance. Most importantly, the gymnasts were thrilled and
proud after the excitement of the Winter Challenge!
